Isntree

Isntree is a Korean skincare brand made by Isntree Co., Ltd. in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Its lines are named for the one thing each is built on, and the naming is literal: Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea, Mountain Yam, Onion, Seaweed PDRN and Chestnut BHA, with retinol and niacinamide serums alongside them.

Most of the brand's concrete claims sit in the product names. The hyaluronic acid line is sold on molecular size — one toner is labelled ultra-low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, another is a Toner Plus, and the same ingredient carries an aqua gel cream and a water sleeping mask. Green Tea Fresh is built on Jeju green tea and aimed at sebum. The sun care splits by filter: the Hyaluronic Acid Natural Sun Cream is SPF50+ PA++++ and mineral, listing zinc oxide, while the Watery Sun Gel sits beside it without that label.

Three of those are worth unpacking: molecular weight, green tea for oily skin, and how to pick a filter type.

Start with molecular size. The reasoning is sound: smaller fragments settle deeper than large ones, so a spread of weights hydrates at several levels at once instead of sitting as one flat film. That layered feel is what a multi-weight blend is for, and a sensible way to build a toner. Hyaluronic acid works by pulling water toward itself, so press it into damp skin and seal it with a cream and the hydration stays where you put it. The 10D toner below is sold on ten sizes, with a centella complex and panthenol behind them.

Green tea is an antioxidant-bearing extract with a mildly astringent feel, which is why it reads as fresh on oily skin. In a cleanser it works alongside the surfactants and acids that lift sebum. The cica foam below pairs it with salicylic acid, gluconolactone and lactic acid.

Choose a filter type by the finish you want. Zinc oxide absorbs UV like any filter, but it also scatters visible light, which is what leaves a pale film on deeper skin tones; organic filters tend to disappear. The sunscreen below runs on avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene, so it goes on without a cast.
