Amuse

Amuse is a Korean vegan beauty brand run by Amuse Korea Corporation from Gangnam, Seoul, making what it calls products born from happiness on 100 per cent vegan formulas. The range covers lip, face, cheek and eye, plus wellness.

Its two tint lines run on different ideas. The Dew Tint it calls a 35 per cent water-infused tint with a light, watery texture finishing in a water coating. The Jel-Fit Tint is an adhering jelly on a three-layer oil-water-oil formula, with eight types of hyaluronic acid, peach extract and vitamin E acetate, and a twelve-hour wear figure.

The cushions are the other half of the brand. Amuse names four — the Dew Jelly Vegan Cushion, the Dew Power Vegan Cushion, the Ceramic Skin Perfector Cushion and the Dew Jelly Master Cushion — and they share one idea: a dewy finish on an essence-heavy vegan base, closer in feel to skincare than to a traditional foundation. The Dew Jelly Vegan Cushion is the one it puts numbers on, at 70 per cent essence with birch juice at 43 per cent.

At 35 per cent, a dew tint is largely water under a clear gloss coating: light to wear, sheer to read, never heavy. The colour holds; the shine is what you top up. The coral and the peach below are both that formula — the pick when you want lips that read fresh rather than painted.

The adhering jelly texture is the opposite bet. A thicker, adhesive film clings rather than sitting on top, so it survives lunch and reads shinier. Amuse names twelve hours for it; thin layers on balm-prepped lips, each left to settle, are what carry that figure through the day. Seoul Girl and Fig Jam below are that formula.

Vegan here is certified, not just claimed: Amuse names WeVegan as its certifier, checking formulation, manufacturing and packaging. The mark covers the whole chain — no animal-derived ingredients, no animal testing, verified at the bench, on the line and on the box.

For the Dew Tint and the Jel-Fit Tint Amuse's instruction is the same and deliberately short: take an appropriate amount and smooth it onto the lips. Swipe once for a lighter wash, twice for fuller colour, or tap and blend with fingertips for a gradient. For its cushions the brand gives three steps — press the puff in, tap lightly from the centre outward, then build layers where you want more coverage.
