Aestura is a Korean skincare brand under Amorepacific, and describes itself as a dermocosmetic brand with dedicated expertise on sensitive skin. Its range is organised into five lines that all carry the same 365 suffix — Atobarrier365, Theracne365, Derma UV365, Regederm365 and A-Cica365 — each grouped around a skin concern rather than a product type. Atobarrier365 is the line the brand is best known for, and it is built on ceramides. Aestura calls the cream a high-density ceramide capsule cream, says the capsules are visible and melt softly on application, and lists Ceramide NP alongside cholesterol, phytosphingosine, sphingolipids and niacinamide. The lotion is the same idea in a lighter texture — melted ceramide capsules, meant to absorb without heaviness. The Cream Mist puts a figure on it: 10,000 ppm ceramide, held in a water-in-oil formula, which is why Aestura says it needs no shaking before use.

Three of those claims are worth unpacking: what a ceramide capsule is doing, what 10,000 ppm amounts to, and why the cholesterol and phytosphingosine beside the ceramide matter more than the ceramide alone.

Start with the capsule. It is a delivery format — lipid held in a droplet that breaks under your fingers — so what it changes is how the ceramide is carried, not which one you get, and carrying it well is the point. The madecassoside barrier cream below uses liposome encapsulation to keep its ceramides stable and help them absorb.

The 10,000 ppm figure converts to one percent, a real working amount rather than a trace. The number is honest, just larger-sounding than it is. The cream mist below plays a different card: a true dual-layer cream-and-essence mist for hydration over makeup.

The third claim is the strongest, and Aestura says the least about it. The barrier is built from ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids together, and research has found that supplying one alone can slow recovery rather than help, while a balanced combination appears to speed it up. That madecassoside cream below lists six ceramide types with cholesterol and a full set of fatty acids.

Two notes. Dermocosmetic has no regulated definition — it signals intent, not a standard met. And a humectant essence like the hyaluronic ampoule below works best with a cream over it to seal the water in.
